Each
year Living Legends selects a karate player from the past and
honors them with a gathering of their closest comrades and
students to share in their glorious career. This year we
honor Hanshi Jerry C. Piddington -- Founder of American Open
Style Karate -- with a celebrity roast, dinner, and show.
During
this celebration we are recognizing some of the competitors
and pioneers of weapon and empty-hand forms, point karate,
full contact karate, and kickboxing, who made a mark on sport
karate history -- which is a history too rich to be forgotten.
This
reunion of "blood & guts warriors" from the
1960's, 1970's, and 1980's will be a one-time event destined
to make Living Legends history. Many martial artists who
have not crossed paths in decades will reunite and reminisce
the accounts that molded sport karate on the East Coast.
We
hope that you join us and enjoy this fun-filled weekend
sharing the greatest attitudes of all -- love and respect!
